When Palisades Tahoe opens in 2026/27

No closing date has been published for 2026/27. North American resorts normally announce the opening day in late summer and leave the closing day to the snowpack, so treat any April or May date you read elsewhere as last season's.

How the terrain splits by ability

Palisades Tahoe grades its terrain as Beginner 25%, Intermediate 43%, Advanced 24%, Expert 9%. Those are the resort's own categories: North America grades by difficulty relative to the mountain, so an "advanced" run here is not the same thing as a red run in the Alps.
