Expected opening: November 29, 2026. Expected closing: May 3, 2027. Opening depends on enough snow at the 1250 m base, so it can move a week or two either way; with a 3250 m top station, the upper mountain usually holds out longer than the base at the end of the season. Closing tends to be pushed to Easter when it falls late.
Like most alpine resorts, Montchavin - Les Coches's lifts typically run roughly from 9:00 to 16:30–17:00, with the occasional night session on special dates. The exact daily schedule is published on the resort's official site.
The two weeks around opening day, plus Christmas and Easter holidays, are when sizes and the better models sell out first in Montchavin - Les Coches. Booking with the opening date already on the calendar — November 29, 2026 this season — is the simple way to avoid being left with what's spare.
