Voss Myrkdalen's 2026/27 season runs roughly from November 28, 2026 to April 12, 2027 — about 135 days of skiing. The November 28, 2026 opening is our own estimate from the resort's calendar in previous seasons: the resort has announced nothing. The April 12, 2027 closing is our own calculation: it is usually announced only weeks ahead. The up-to-date version, with its source, is on the opening-dates page.
Expected opening: November 28, 2026. Expected closing: April 12, 2027. Opening depends on enough snow at the 230 m base, so it can move a week or two either way; with a 1100 m top station, the upper mountain usually holds out longer than the base at the end of the season. Closing tends to be pushed to Easter when it falls late.
Like most alpine resorts, Voss Myrkdalen's lifts typically run roughly from 9:00 to 16:30–17:00, with the occasional night session on special dates. The exact daily schedule is published on the resort's official site.
The two weeks around opening day, plus Christmas and Easter holidays, are when sizes and the better models sell out first in Voss Myrkdalen. Booking with the opening date already on the calendar — November 28, 2026 this season — is the simple way to avoid being left with what's spare.
