Whistler Blackcomb's 2026/27 season runs roughly from November 20, 2026 to April 26, 2027 — about 157 days of skiing. The opening, November 20, 2026, has been announced by the resort: it is published by Vail Resorts. The April 26, 2027 closing is our own calculation: it is usually announced only weeks ahead. Expected opening: November 20, 2026. Expected closing: April 26, 2027. Opening depends on enough snow at the 675 m base, so it can move a week or two either way; with a 2284 m top station, the upper mountain usually holds out longer than the base at the end of the season. Closing tends to be pushed to Easter when it falls late.
Like most alpine resorts, Whistler Blackcomb's lifts typically run roughly from 9:00 to 16:30–17:00, with the occasional night session on special dates. The exact daily schedule is published on the resort's official site.
The two weeks around opening day, plus Christmas and Easter holidays, are when sizes and the better models sell out first in Whistler Blackcomb. Booking with the opening date already on the calendar — November 20, 2026 this season — is the simple way to avoid being left with what's spare.
