Tips for parking at Méribel

• On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays the car parks by the main lifts fill up early: arrive before the lifts open or use the outer car parks and ride the shuttle or gondola.
• If you park at the foot of the slopes, leave the car facing downhill with the handbrake on lightly: in a hard frost the brakes can freeze on.
• Carry snow chains or fit winter tyres: in snow the access road can be closed to cars without them.
• Motorhome and coach parks are separate: overnight stays in car parks are not allowed unless signposted.
• In France, the Loi Montagne requires winter tyres or chains in the boot from 1 November to 31 March in signposted mountain municipalities.
