Aletsch Arena is a resort in Valais (Switzerland) skied between 1845 and 2869 metres, with 104 km of pistes and 35 lifts.
The camera shows real visibility and snow on the ground, not the forecast. Snow depth by altitude — 1845 to 2869 m — and the days ahead are in the Aletsch Arena snow report.
Which lifts and runs Aletsch Arena opens is published by the resort every morning and changes with the wind: the upper ones, up to 2869 m, are the most exposed. If the camera is a white blur mid-morning, that is usually why.
