Right now in Are: 0 °C at mid-mountain. Snow forecast at the summit this week: 1.9 cm. 7-day forecast for Are.
Are is a resort in Jämtland (suecia) skied between 380 and 1420 metres.
The camera shows real visibility and snow on the ground, not the forecast. Snow depth by altitude — 380 to 1420 m — and the days ahead are in the Are snow report.
Which lifts and runs Are opens is published by the resort every morning and changes with the wind: the upper ones, up to 1420 m, are the most exposed. If the camera is a white blur mid-morning, that is usually why.
