Right now in Avoriaz: 6 °C at mid-mountain. Snow forecast at the summit this week: 25 cm. 7-day forecast for Avoriaz.
Avoriaz is a resort in Haute-Savoie (Portes du Soleil) (France) skied between 1100 and 2466 metres, with 650 km of pistes and 195 lifts.
The camera shows real visibility and snow on the ground, not the forecast. Snow depth by altitude — 1100 to 2466 m — and the days ahead are in the Avoriaz snow report.
Which lifts and runs Avoriaz opens is published by the resort every morning and changes with the wind: the upper ones, up to 2466 m, are the most exposed. If the camera is a white blur mid-morning, that is usually why.
