Right now in Berchtesgaden: 13 °C at mid-mountain. Snow forecast at the summit this week: 1.3 cm. 7-day forecast for Berchtesgaden.
Berchtesgaden is a resort in Bavaria (Germany) skied between 835 and 1550 metres, with 17 km of pistes and 7 lifts.
The camera shows real visibility and snow on the ground, not the forecast. Snow depth by altitude — 835 to 1550 m — and the days ahead are in the Berchtesgaden snow report.
Which lifts and runs Berchtesgaden opens is published by the resort every morning and changes with the wind: the upper ones, up to 1550 m, are the most exposed. If the camera is a white blur mid-morning, that is usually why.
