Right now in Big Sky: 9 °C at mid-mountain. Snow forecast at the summit this week: 7.9 cm. 7-day forecast for Big Sky.
Big Sky is a resort in Montana (United States) skied between 2256 and 3403 metres, with 5,850 acres of skiable terrain and 40 lifts.
Big Sky publishes its own cameras on its official website.
The camera shows real visibility and snow on the ground, not the forecast. Snow depth by altitude — 2256 to 3403 m — and the days ahead are in the Big Sky snow report.
Which lifts and runs Big Sky opens is published by the resort every morning and changes with the wind: the upper ones, up to 3403 m, are the most exposed. If the camera is a white blur mid-morning, that is usually why.
