Right now in Braunwald: 9 °C at mid-mountain. Snow forecast at the summit this week: 19.1 cm. 7-day forecast for Braunwald.
Braunwald is a resort in Ostschweiz (Switzerland) skied between 1256 and 2200 metres, with 31 km of pistes and 10 lifts.
The camera shows real visibility and snow on the ground, not the forecast. Snow depth by altitude — 1256 to 2200 m — and the days ahead are in the Braunwald snow report.
Which lifts and runs Braunwald opens is published by the resort every morning and changes with the wind: the upper ones, up to 2200 m, are the most exposed. If the camera is a white blur mid-morning, that is usually why.
