Right now in Grindelwald: 8 °C at mid-mountain. Snow forecast at the summit this week: 10.3 cm. 7-day forecast for Grindelwald.
Grindelwald is a resort in Berner Oberland (Switzerland) skied between 1034 and 2168 metres, with 213 km of pistes and 21 lifts.
The camera shows real visibility and snow on the ground, not the forecast. Snow depth by altitude — 1034 to 2168 m — and the days ahead are in the Grindelwald snow report.
Which lifts and runs Grindelwald opens is published by the resort every morning and changes with the wind: the upper ones, up to 2168 m, are the most exposed. If the camera is a white blur mid-morning, that is usually why.
