Right now in Pila: 6 °C at mid-mountain. Snow forecast at the summit this week: 5.2 cm. 7-day forecast for Pila.
Pila is a resort in Valle d'Aosta (near Aosta) (Italy) skied between 1540 and 2750 metres, with 70 km of pistes and 16 lifts.
The camera shows real visibility and snow on the ground, not the forecast. Snow depth by altitude — 1540 to 2750 m — and the days ahead are in the Pila snow report.
Which lifts and runs Pila opens is published by the resort every morning and changes with the wind: the upper ones, up to 2750 m, are the most exposed. If the camera is a white blur mid-morning, that is usually why.
