Right now in Ratschings: 0 °C at mid-mountain. Snow forecast at the summit this week: 2.5 cm. 7-day forecast for Ratschings.
Ratschings is a resort in South Tyrol (Ratschings-Jaufen) (Italy) skied between 1300 and 2100 metres.
The camera shows real visibility and snow on the ground, not the forecast. Snow depth by altitude — 1300 to 2100 m — and the days ahead are in the Ratschings snow report.
Which lifts and runs Ratschings opens is published by the resort every morning and changes with the wind: the upper ones, up to 2100 m, are the most exposed. If the camera is a white blur mid-morning, that is usually why.
