Right now in Samoens: 1 °C at mid-mountain. Snow forecast at the summit this week: 0.6 cm. 7-day forecast for Samoens.
Samoens is a resort in Haute-Savoie (Grand Massif) (France) skied between 720 and 2480 metres.
The camera shows real visibility and snow on the ground, not the forecast. Snow depth by altitude — 720 to 2480 m — and the days ahead are in the Samoens snow report.
Which lifts and runs Samoens opens is published by the resort every morning and changes with the wind: the upper ones, up to 2480 m, are the most exposed. If the camera is a white blur mid-morning, that is usually why.
