Right now in Serre Chevalier: 3 °C at mid-mountain. Snow forecast at the summit this week: 20.2 cm. 7-day forecast for Serre Chevalier.
Serre Chevalier is a resort in Hautes-Alpes (France) skied between 1200 and 2800 metres, with 250 km of pistes and 61 lifts.
The camera shows real visibility and snow on the ground, not the forecast. Snow depth by altitude — 1200 to 2800 m — and the days ahead are in the Serre Chevalier snow report.
Which lifts and runs Serre Chevalier opens is published by the resort every morning and changes with the wind: the upper ones, up to 2800 m, are the most exposed. If the camera is a white blur mid-morning, that is usually why.
