Right now in Steamboat: 8 °C at mid-mountain. Snow forecast at the summit this week: 0.4 cm. 7-day forecast for Steamboat.
Steamboat is a resort in Colorado (United States) skied between 2103 and 3221 metres, with 3,741 acres of skiable terrain and 23 lifts.
Steamboat publishes its own cameras on its official website.
The camera shows real visibility and snow on the ground, not the forecast. Snow depth by altitude — 2103 to 3221 m — and the days ahead are in the Steamboat snow report.
Which lifts and runs Steamboat opens is published by the resort every morning and changes with the wind: the upper ones, up to 3221 m, are the most exposed. If the camera is a white blur mid-morning, that is usually why.
