Valle Nevado is a resort in Región Metropolitana (Chile) skied between 2860 and 3670 metres.
The camera shows real visibility and snow on the ground, not the forecast. Snow depth by altitude — 2860 to 3670 m — and the days ahead are in the Valle Nevado snow report.
Which lifts and runs Valle Nevado opens is published by the resort every morning and changes with the wind: the upper ones, up to 3670 m, are the most exposed. If the camera is a white blur mid-morning, that is usually why.
