Right now in Aussois: -1 °C at mid-mountain. Snow forecast at the summit this week: 1.6 cm. 7-day forecast for Aussois.
Aussois is a resort in Savoie (Haute Maurienne) (France) skied between 1500 and 2750 metres.
The camera shows real visibility and snow on the ground, not the forecast. Snow depth by altitude — 1500 to 2750 m — and the days ahead are in the Aussois snow report.
Which lifts and runs Aussois opens is published by the resort every morning and changes with the wind: the upper ones, up to 2750 m, are the most exposed. If the camera is a white blur mid-morning, that is usually why.
