Bad Hofgastein is a resort in Salzburgerland (Gastein) (Austria) skied between 860 and 2300 metres.
The camera shows real visibility and snow on the ground, not the forecast. Snow depth by altitude — 860 to 2300 m — and the days ahead are in the Bad Hofgastein snow report.
Which lifts and runs Bad Hofgastein opens is published by the resort every morning and changes with the wind: the upper ones, up to 2300 m, are the most exposed. If the camera is a white blur mid-morning, that is usually why.
