Right now in Cauterets: -1 °C at mid-mountain and about 1 cm of snow on the ground according to the model. Snow forecast at the summit this week: 0.1 cm. 7-day forecast for Cauterets.
Cauterets is a resort in Hautes-Pyrénées (France) skied between 1850 and 2350 metres, with 36 km of pistes and 11 lifts.
The camera shows real visibility and snow on the ground, not the forecast. Snow depth by altitude — 1850 to 2350 m — and the days ahead are in the Cauterets snow report.
Which lifts and runs Cauterets opens is published by the resort every morning and changes with the wind: the upper ones, up to 2350 m, are the most exposed. If the camera is a white blur mid-morning, that is usually why.
