Right now in Nordkette: 12 °C at mid-mountain. Snow forecast at the summit this week: 12.7 cm. 7-day forecast for Nordkette.
Nordkette is a resort in Tirol (Innsbruck) (Austria) skied between 860 and 2256 metres, with 6 km of pistes and 6 lifts.
Nordkette publishes its own cameras on its official website.
The camera shows real visibility and snow on the ground, not the forecast. Snow depth by altitude — 860 to 2256 m — and the days ahead are in the Nordkette snow report.
Which lifts and runs Nordkette opens is published by the resort every morning and changes with the wind: the upper ones, up to 2256 m, are the most exposed. If the camera is a white blur mid-morning, that is usually why.
