Right now in Val Cenis: -1 °C at mid-mountain. Snow forecast at the summit this week: 2.8 cm. 7-day forecast for Val Cenis.
Val Cenis is a resort in Savoie (Haute Maurienne) (France) skied between 1400 and 2800 metres.
The camera shows real visibility and snow on the ground, not the forecast. Snow depth by altitude — 1400 to 2800 m — and the days ahead are in the Val Cenis snow report.
Which lifts and runs Val Cenis opens is published by the resort every morning and changes with the wind: the upper ones, up to 2800 m, are the most exposed. If the camera is a white blur mid-morning, that is usually why.
