Ski trips with friends and stag or hen groups

A ski trip with friends almost always dies in the group chat: nobody wants to book for ten and then chase the money. The group code fixes that: one person picks the resort and the dates, sends the link, and each person books their own equipment and lift pass and pays online. The shop sees one group and nobody plays the bank.

For a stag or hen weekend the criteria change: fewer kilometres, more atmosphere. Pas de la Casa and Soldeu in Andorra, Formigal with its après-ski, Granada with Sierra Nevada 45 minutes away, or Baqueira for a group that already skis well and wants the big resort. For each destination we say where the group sleeps and where it goes out.

What we organise

  • Apartments or a hotel for the whole group, slopeside or in the village depending on what matters more: sleeping in or going out.
  • Lift pass and equipment per person, each with their own size and level, in their own name.
  • A group code so each person pays their share and nobody fronts the money.
  • Group lessons for the two or three in the group who have never skied, so they don't stay at the bottom.
  • Transfer or hire car from the airport when the group flies in.
  • A table booked for the group dinner and the local ideas for the night.

Where to go

  • Pas de la Casa — The classic stag or hen do: slopes at the hotel door, duty-free and the longest night in Andorra.
  • Soldeu — For a group that wants to ski properly and go out afterwards: the gondola on the same street as the hotels and bars.
  • Baqueira Beret — The big resort for a group that already skis: Beret to ski together, Arties and Vielha for a dinner worthy of the occasion.
  • Formigal-Panticosa — The best-known après-ski in the Pyrenees and four valleys to spread out levels; group accommodation in Formigal and Sallent de Gállego.
  • Sierra Nevada — Skiing by day and Granada by night, 45 minutes away: a combination no other Spanish resort can offer a stag or hen party.

What to know before booking

Apartment if you're more than six

From six or eight people the apartment beats the hotel: breakfast at home, nobody gets lost in the corridor and the night starts earlier. Hotels win if you want half board and a spa.

One level or two, not five

The group that works best skis in two sub-groups: those who ski everything and those taking it easy, with a meeting point at lunchtime. Decide before the trip, not on the chairlift.

Stag or hen do: helmet and insurance

On a stag or hen trip people ski with less sense than usual. The helmet is included with the equipment and slope insurance is sold with the lift pass: it is what turns a silly fall into an anecdote rather than a bill.

Book the equipment before the hotel

Hotels can be changed; equipment in your size on a Saturday in February cannot. With the group code each person books theirs the day they sign up.

Frequently asked questions

How does the group code work?

One person creates it when booking their equipment and shares it. Each person books their own equipment and lift pass for the same dates with that code and pays online. The shop sees one group and prepares everything together for pick-up; nobody fronts the money for the others.

Which resort is best for a stag or hen do in the snow?

Pas de la Casa if the night and the price matter most; Soldeu if you want to ski well and go out; Formigal for its après-ski; Granada with Sierra Nevada if you come from the south; Baqueira if the group already skis and wants the big resort. All five have their own group page with where to sleep.

What if some of the group can't ski?

We book them a two-hour group lesson on the first morning and beginner equipment. On day two they ski a blue run with everyone else. If they prefer not to ski, the hotel and transport are booked anyway, without a lift pass.

Can we cancel if someone drops out?

Each booking under the code is independent: whoever drops out cancels theirs under the shop's and the lift pass's conditions without affecting the others. The hotel or apartment follows the accommodation's conditions, which we give you before booking.
