Ski trips for clubs and associations
A mountain club, a residents' association, a supporters' group or the school parents' association organises a ski outing differently: lots of people, every level, whole families, and one volunteer running it unpaid who can't spend three weeks on the phone. This pack is for that organiser.
What eats most time on a club outing is the equipment: half the members have their own and the other half don't, and each needs a size. With the list of those hiring, the gear is ready in each member's name when the coach arrives. The group lift pass is arranged with the resort, and if it is a weekend outing, so is the hotel or hostel.
What we organise
- Group lift passes with the resort for the day or days of the outing.
- Equipment only for those who need it, in each member's name and size, ready when the coach arrives.
- Coach from the club's base, with fixed outbound and return times.
- Hotel or hostel for weekend outings, block-booked and with meals if wanted.
- Group lessons for members who are starting out, without the rest having to wait.
- A group code so each member pays for their own equipment and lift pass and the club fronts nothing.
Where to go
- La Molina — The classic day outing from Barcelona and Girona: two hours by coach, the Alp 2500 pass to ski Masella too and slopes for every level in the club.
- Alp 2500 / Masella — More long tree-lined runs than La Molina and the same coach from Barcelona; perfect for the club that already knows La Molina and wants a change.
- Grandvalira — For the club weekend: the largest ski area in the Pyrenees, group lift passes arranged with the resort and block accommodation in Encamp, Canillo or El Tarter.
- Cerler — The highest resort in the Pyrenees, in the Benasque valley, for mountain clubs from Aragon and Catalonia that want skiing without crowds and a high-mountain valley.
- Sierra Nevada — For clubs from Andalusia and Murcia: coach to Pradollano, group lift passes and equipment ready at the resort; with a night in Granada if the outing is two days.
What to know before booking
Day outing: a resort under three hours away
More than three hours by coach each way turns the ski day into four hours on the slopes. From Barcelona, La Molina and Masella; from Toulouse, Andorra; from Zaragoza, Formigal and Cerler; from Bilbao, Alto Campoo or Formigal.
Hire list closed a week before
It is the only thing the organiser needs: who is hiring and their measurements. With that, the equipment waits for each member with their name on it and the outing starts skiing on arrival, not two hours later.
Club children
If minors are coming, helmets are compulsory in Andorra and we always include them. Children's group lessons are booked separately from the adults' and start at the same time, so families only split up on the slopes.
Ask the resort for the group rate early
Almost every resort has a group rate above a certain number of people, but they require the list or the payment in advance. We handle it; the club only confirms the final number.
Frequently asked questions
Do you organise single-day outings for clubs?
Yes. A day outing includes the coach, group lift passes and equipment for those who need it; no hotel. It is the usual format for mountain clubs from Barcelona to La Molina or Masella, from Zaragoza to Formigal or from Toulouse to Andorra.
How many people do you need for a group rate?
Each resort has its own minimum and conditions, and they change every season, so we don't publish a figure. With the number of people and the dates of your outing we tell you which rate the resort applies and arrange it.
Do members with their own equipment pay the same?
No. Only those hiring pay for equipment. The quote separates lift pass, equipment, lessons, coach and accommodation so each member pays exactly for what they use.
Can you organise a weekend with a hostel?
Yes. For two- or three-day outings we find a hotel or hostel block near the resort, with full or half board if the club wants it, and include it in the same quote.
