Where a group sleeps in Alp 2500 / Masella
Masella has apartments and a hotel at the foot of the slopes at Pla de Masella, and the rest of the group accommodation is in Alp and Das, five to ten minutes away, and in Puigcerdà, fifteen minutes away. It shares the Cerdanya villages with La Molina, so a group can sleep in Alp and ski one day at each resort.
How the group gets to Alp 2500 / Masella
Two hours from Barcelona via the Cadí tunnel, the same coach as to La Molina. From Girona, an hour and a half; from Perpignan and Toulouse, about two and a half hours via Puigcerdà.
Skiing Alp 2500 / Masella as a group
Masella is the resort of long tree-lined runs: from La Tosa d'Alp, red and blue runs several kilometres long drop to Pla de Masella, with a beginner area at the foot. With the Alp 2500 pass you cross to La Molina by gondola. For a group that already skis it is the more fun half of the area; for beginners, La Molina has the more comfortable lower area.
After skiing in Alp 2500 / Masella
Masella opens runs at night on some days of the season, and that is the group plan no other Catalan resort has: skiing at eight in the evening under floodlights. The rest of the night is in Alp or Puigcerdà.

Questions about group trips to Alp 2500 / Masella
How much does a group ski trip to Alp 2500 / Masella cost?
It depends on the number of people, the dates and whether the group sleeps at the resort or in the village. We send a per-person quote for Alp 2500 / Masella with accommodation, lift pass, lessons, equipment and coach itemised, so you decide what goes into the shared price. We don't publish one price because it would be made up.
Is there a group rate on the Alp 2500 / Masella lift pass?
Resorts apply group rates above a certain number of people, with conditions that change every season. With the number of skiers and the dates we tell you which rate Alp 2500 / Masella applies and arrange it; the group only confirms the final number.
How do we pay for the trip to Alp 2500 / Masella if everyone wants to pay their own share?
With a group code: each person books their own equipment and lift pass for the same dates and pays online, and the shop sees a single group booking. The hotel and coach are secured with a group deposit and the balance under the accommodation's conditions.
What if some of the group have never skied?
We book them beginner equipment and a two-hour group lesson on the first morning in Alp 2500 / Masella. On day two they ski a blue run with the others. Anyone who prefers not to ski gets the same hotel and coach without lift pass or equipment.
How far ahead should we book a group in Alp 2500 / Masella?
For 20 or more people midweek, one or two months is usually enough. For a weekend between January and March, a bank holiday or more than 50 people, secure the accommodation in October or November: hotels with room for a large group in Alp 2500 / Masella sell out before single rooms do.
