Group ski trip to Soldeu

Grandvalira - Canillo · 80 km · 1710–2560 m · 27 lifts

Where a group sleeps in Soldeu

Soldeu has Grandvalira's four- and five-star hotels on the same street as the gondola, with function rooms for a company dinner and a spa, and also three-star half-board hotels for the student trip. It is the Grandvalira village where a group of 50 fits in a single hotel without going to Pas de la Casa.

How the group gets to Soldeu

Three hours by coach from Barcelona via La Seu d'Urgell, Encamp and Canillo; a little under three from Toulouse via Pas de la Casa. The coach drops off on the gondola street itself.

Skiing Soldeu as a group

From the Soldeu gondola you reach Espiolets, a wide plateau with the ski school and the beginner area, and from there the group splits: long blue runs towards El Tarter for those taking it easy, the descent to Grau Roig and Pas de la Casa for those who already ski. It is the sector with the widest runs in Andorra, which matters a lot for an adult group lesson.

After skiing in Soldeu

Soldeu has plenty of bars and restaurants on the main street, all walking distance from the hotel, and is Andorra's second nightlife spot after Pas de la Casa. The company dinner is booked in the hotel's function room; the friends' dinner in a village restaurant.

Questions about group trips to Soldeu

How much does a group ski trip to Soldeu cost?

It depends on the number of people, the dates and whether the group sleeps at the resort or in the village. We send a per-person quote for Soldeu with accommodation, lift pass, lessons, equipment and coach itemised, so you decide what goes into the shared price. We don't publish one price because it would be made up.

Is there a group rate on the Soldeu lift pass?

Resorts apply group rates above a certain number of people, with conditions that change every season. With the number of skiers and the dates we tell you which rate Soldeu applies and arrange it; the group only confirms the final number.

How do we pay for the trip to Soldeu if everyone wants to pay their own share?

With a group code: each person books their own equipment and lift pass for the same dates and pays online, and the shop sees a single group booking. The hotel and coach are secured with a group deposit and the balance under the accommodation's conditions.

What if some of the group have never skied?

We book them beginner equipment and a two-hour group lesson on the first morning in Soldeu. On day two they ski a blue run with the others. Anyone who prefers not to ski gets the same hotel and coach without lift pass or equipment.

How far ahead should we book a group in Soldeu?

For 20 or more people midweek, one or two months is usually enough. For a weekend between January and March, a bank holiday or more than 50 people, secure the accommodation in October or November: hotels with room for a large group in Soldeu sell out before single rooms do.
