Group ski trip to Andorra

All of Andorra under two lift passes: Grandvalira (six sectors) and Pal Arinsal, with Ordino Arcalís separate. Pick the sector where the group will sleep, or ask for a quote for Andorra and we will recommend one.

Where a group sleeps in Andorra

Andorra is the group destination par excellence because there is a bed for everyone at every price: big slopeside hotels in Pas de la Casa and Soldeu, three-star half-board hotels in El Tarter, Canillo and Encamp five or ten minutes from a gondola, apartments in La Massana and Arinsal for Pal Arinsal, and Andorra la Vella if the group wants city, shops and price, with a coach to any sector.

How the group gets to Andorra

By coach, about three hours from Barcelona, two and a half from Lleida and Toulouse, four from Zaragoza and about seven from Madrid. From the Spanish side you enter via La Seu d'Urgell towards Encamp and Soldeu; from the French side via Pas de la Casa. The useful airports for a group flying in are Barcelona and Toulouse, with a coach transfer to the hotel.

Skiing Andorra as a group

Grandvalira is the largest ski area in the Pyrenees and links Pas de la Casa, Grau Roig, Soldeu, El Tarter, Canillo and Encamp under one lift pass; for a mixed-level group it is the best option because there is a beginner area in almost every sector and long runs for those who already ski. Pal Arinsal is smaller, cheaper and easier, ideal for a group that is starting out; Ordino Arcalís is the resort for those who ski well and want snow and off-piste.

After skiing in Andorra

Pas de la Casa and Soldeu to go out; Andorra la Vella and Escaldes for the shops, the Caldea thermal centre and the restaurants; Canillo for the Palau de Gel ice rink. The group dinner is booked at the hotel if it is half board or at a restaurant in the village, and in Andorra eating out is cheaper than in any Alpine resort.

Questions about group trips to Andorra

How much does a group ski trip to Andorra cost?

It depends on the number of people, the dates and whether the group sleeps at the resort or in the village. We send a per-person quote for Andorra with accommodation, lift pass, lessons, equipment and coach itemised, so you decide what goes into the shared price. We don't publish one price because it would be made up.

Is there a group rate on the Andorra lift pass?

Resorts apply group rates above a certain number of people, with conditions that change every season. With the number of skiers and the dates we tell you which rate Andorra applies and arrange it; the group only confirms the final number.

How do we pay for the trip to Andorra if everyone wants to pay their own share?

With a group code: each person books their own equipment and lift pass for the same dates and pays online, and the shop sees a single group booking. The hotel and coach are secured with a group deposit and the balance under the accommodation's conditions.

What if some of the group have never skied?

We book them beginner equipment and a two-hour group lesson on the first morning in Andorra. On day two they ski a blue run with the others. Anyone who prefers not to ski gets the same hotel and coach without lift pass or equipment.

How far ahead should we book a group in Andorra?

For 20 or more people midweek, one or two months is usually enough. For a weekend between January and March, a bank holiday or more than 50 people, secure the accommodation in October or November: hotels with room for a large group in Andorra sell out before single rooms do.
